I hope you all had a good week and a Happy Easter last weekend. We just stayed home and relaxed a little, nothing spectacular.
On the writing front, I’m still working on the first draft for book 3 of the Style & Profile series, For the Defense. Thank you to everyone who sent me your opinions on the cover to use. I’ll be sticking to the one we chose last year due to popularity.
I’ve been wanting to write a Christmas Story this year, probably short–short story or novella, but I’ve had a hard time coming up with an idea. That ended a couple of days ago, so I wrote about 500 words on that one in order to remember everything I’d thought about for it. I’ll fill you in more about the story later. I’m so excited and relieved.
All of my writing has been a bit frustrating since my characters seem to feed me only bits of information at a time, so I’ve been writing between 300 and 600 words per sitting when I want to write two thousand. Sigh. We’ll see how it goes. Maybe they’ll give me more soon.

time. As such, I wrote for years before I actually finished the first book of what would eventually become The Bow of Destiny. Along the way, I set the series aside several times and toyed with short stories before I really got serious about writing back around 2010. It still took several years but I finally published the first book in 2015.
