April Author Updates

Happy Friday!

I hope everyone is having a great week. I’m in the process of writing Book 3 in the Style and Profile Series and hope to have it out for purchase later this year. I’ve played with the cover some. I ran a poll for this book last year, but I had a few more ideas that I thought might work better with the story. You may remember this.

The title is FOR THE DEFENSE and the main male character, Jaxon Montgomery, is a lawyer who fights for those who have been wrongfully arrested or convicted. He represented Jon Clayton in Book 2 BEFORE WE WED when he was being framed for a crime. Below are the covers I have in mind. If you like one better than the one we chose last year, let me know which one in the comments section.

Grant (Thoroughly Educated Book 2) by Lara Norman

The second book in the Thoroughly Educated Series is tantalizing, tawdry, and downright dirty.

There’s more than one lesson to be learned when you leave behind preconceived notions.

Grant Hughes has taken care of his little sister, Reagan, since he was seventeen. He’s had to focus on his job to keep them both fed and a roof over their heads. With her off at college, he finally gets to take a deep breath and focus on himself.

When Alexandra Banks brings her car into the shop where he works, Grant pegs her as a rich girl with no worries. When she comes back repeatedly with minor trouble that he suspects she’s creating, he begins to see her in a new light.

They have so much to teach each other when it comes to desire.

She’s not being subtle with her flirting any longer, and his thoughts begin to shift. He wants her, but he wants it quick with no strings attached. Will he rearrange his plans when he finds Alex to be wild and wanton, getting under his skin and creating an urge in him he can no longer contain?

  1. Great new ideas Kim. I still like one chosen last year best.I like the harbor/city scape which adds another element outside of the judicial aspect. I know that’s the main thrust, but I’m sure a lot of the action also happens outside of the court room. Just my .02 🙂
